Job summary

Search Personnel Private Limited is hiring for a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer (Security Systems / ELV) in Singapore. The role involves managing ELV projects from planning to handover at islandwide sites, with focus on CCTV, access control and alarm systems.

The candidate will coordinate schedules, liaise with clients and suppliers, and ensure quality and timely delivery. Travel to sites is required; night/weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics, Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Two years of relevant project experience, preferably in security/ELV projects.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm systems or ELV networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned security-system projects from planning and installation through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials and site activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of CCTV, access control, alarm and related ELV systems.
• Ensure completed works meet project specs, quality standards and customer requirements.
• Attend project meetings and resolve site or technical coordination issues.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, progress records and handover documents.
• Attend project sites island wide as required.

Job description

• Position: Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer (Security Systems / ELV)
• Location: Outram office and project sites islandwide
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm. Night and weekend work may be required depending on project schedules.
• Salary:
• -Project Engineer: Up to $4,500 Basic
• -Senior Project Engineer: Up to $5,500 Basic
• Transport Allowance: Up to $750 for car or $400 for motorcycle

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant project experience, preferably involving security systems or ELV projects.
• Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm systems, networking or related ELV systems.
• Experience coordinating site installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Good project coordination, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to travel to project sites islandwide. A valid Class 3 or Class 2B driving license will be advantageous where driving is required for site deployment.
• Able to support night or weekend project activities when required.
