Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore seeks a Team Leader within Commercial Banking Cash (CBC) to lead a team of Business Banking Managers, drive acquisition and hit KPIs. You will manage pipelines, coach staff, uphold due diligence standards, and cultivate partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will apply your leadership and sales expertise to build a high-performing team, ensure compliant onboarding, and deliver business outcomes in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in banking/financial services with a strong customer acquisition track record.
• University degree and sales management experience leading a team.
• Proven leadership, people management and coaching capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of AML and due diligence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Business Banking Managers to achieve team KPIs and targets.
• Monitor performance and pipelines, identify gaps and drive timely follow-up actions.
• Maintain oversight of sales pipelines, lead progression, conversion and opportunities.
• Coach Business Banking Managers on sales management, customer acquisition and due diligence.
• Ensure customers onboarded by the team are screened and meet AML/due diligence.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and anchor partnerships with external partners.
• Provide guidance on resolving complex customer, onboarding, and operational issues.
• Develop and drive sales strategies and initiatives to improve team performance.
