Job summary

Wanco Manpower Pte Ltd. is seeking a Talent Market Intelligence Researcher to conduct market and industry research, analyze people data, and provide insights to support workforce strategy.

You will work with People Organization leaders to understand talent market trends, competitor insights, talent supply and demand, and other workforce information, translating complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations for business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong analytical skills.
• 5–10 years of experience in market intelligence or HR-related analytics.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Experience with databases, internal and external sources.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain talent market intelligence databases covering supply/demand and trends.
• Conduct research using internal databases and external sources.
• Analyse data and translate insights for People Organization leaders.
• Collaborate with People Strategy leaders on market research reports and programs.
• Identify trends to support talent strategy and workforce planning.
• Work with vendors to optimize use of talent intelligence tools.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders and decision-makers.

Position: Talent Market Intelligence Researcher (12 months contract &renewable)

Location: Woodlands

Working Hour: Mon to Fri, 8am to 530pm

Job Description:

Responsible for conducting talent market and industry research, together with internal people data analysis, to provide valuable talent and market insights that support the organization’s talent and workforce strategy. The role will work closely with People Organization leaders to understand talent market trends, competitor insights, talent supply and demand, and other workforce-related information, translating complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations to support business and people decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a strong talent market intelligence database covering talent supply and demand, competitor insights, market trends, and other relevant intelligence to support workforce decisions.
• Conduct research on assigned talent and market-related topics using analytical tools, internal databases, and external resources.
• Analyse data from various sources and translate complex information into meaningful and actionable insights for People Organization leaders.
• Collaborate with People Strategy leaders to support the development of market research reports, internal analysis, and people-related programs.
• Identify relevant talent market trends and insights that can support talent strategy and workforce planning.
• Work with talent intelligence vendors and external partners to drive effective usage of talent intelligence tools and resources.
• Prepare and present research findings, analysis, and insights in a clear and concise manner for key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in Economics, Finance, Information Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in market intelligence, people strategy development, or solid experience in one or more HR functions.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience in conducting research using internal databases, external sources, and analytical tools.
• Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy as the information will support senior-level decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex analysis in a concise and impactful manner.
• Familiarity with the semiconductor, memory, and/or electronics industry is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is an added advantage.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing priorities, ambiguity, information overload, and short deadlines.
