Job summary

DFI Retail Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead end-to-end recruitment for Digital & Technology and Corporate Functions across Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. You will build strategic pipelines, screen candidates and advise hiring managers on selection strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive recruitment experience in high-volume or specialist environments.
• Proven experience sourcing passive candidates using advanced search methods and talent intelligence tools.
• Strong competency-based interviewing skills and ability to assess technical and behavioural fit.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source high-caliber candidates for Digital & Technology and Group Functions roles.
• Build diverse talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Screening & selection: lead candidate screening and competency-based interviews.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring teams and provide structured feedback.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to align recruitment strategies with workforce planning.
• Provide market insights and recommendations to support hiring decisions.
• Prepare offers, extend terms and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Maintain timely communication with candidates and ensure a positive experience.
• Oversee background checks and documentation in line with hiring standards.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with local laws and diversity objectives.
• Track recruitment metrics and maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
