Job summary

ES RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is urgently seeking two IT Systems Executives on a 1-year contract for Changi Airport to join a client project expansion.

Open to Diploma graduates with no prior experience who are eager to learn on the job; readiness for 24x7 standby and ability to carry TVs for mounting is required.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in IT systems support and are trained or certified in Windows Server, UNIX/LINUX, VM and ITIL.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT/Computing or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years IT systems support experience preferred.
• Trained or certified in Windows Server, UNIX/LINUX, VM and ITIL advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Production Support.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications.
• Process client Service Requests and route problems to appropriate resource.
• Provide documentation and procedural support.
• Troubleshoot via phone, web-based tools and email.
• Advise customers on product usage and issues.
• Coordinate with Tier 2 for problem escalation.
• Assist with mailbox migrations between Exchange systems.
• Perform health checks and monitor system availability.

Immediate 1 year contract for Singaporeans to join as IT Systems Executive X 2 at Changi Airport work location for our client project expansion

Open to Diploma in IT graduates with no prior work experience who are eager to learn on the job, comfortable working on ladders, able to carry non-commercial TVs for mounting and dismounting, and interested in working in an airport environment.

Ideal Candidate should possess 2-3yrs in IT systems support role, Trained or certified in Windows Server, UNIX/LINUX, VM and ITIL to apply this role.

1 year contract under agency payroll

Salary: $3000 - $3800

Work Location: Changi Airport

Required to be on 24×7 standby

0.5-month completion bonus upon successful completion of the contract, subject to PM's recommendation

0.5-month performance bonus , subject to employee performance and PM's recommendation

Overview of job Function

The System Executive is responsible to provide operational support to system infrastructure, support to the clients and resolution of technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Production Support
• Provide technical support to customer
• Identify and elevate priority issues as per Client specifications, Process client Service Request, Redirect problems to appropriate resource
• Provide support on documentation including procedural documentation
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support via phone, web based tools and email
• Advise customers regarding the product's proper use and address specific user issues
• Act as a liaison between customers and Tier 2 support regarding problem escalation
• Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail and phone
• Perform mailbox migrations between Exchange systems as well as from other vendors to Exchange for customers in accordance to procedure, to ensure seamless transitions
• Perform health checks and monitor availability and functionality of the systems
• Provide operational support to system infrastructures

Requirement

• Singaporean (Need to clear project clearance and pre-employment check)
• 2-3 years of working experience as a System Engineer supporting application of UNIX/LINUX platform and database.
• Required to be on 24x7 standby
• Able to work on ladder & carry non-commercial TVs (for mounting & unmounting)
• Possess at least a Diploma or its equivalent in Computer / IT with minimum 2-3 years working experience in related field.
• Candidate without working experience may be considered
• Trained or certified in Windows Server, UNIX/LINUX, VM and ITIL would be advantageous.
• Analytical, proactive and able to multi-task and prioritize all work assigned.
• Team player with good English communication skills who can also work independently under minimum supervision.
• Motivated individual with challenger spirit and leadership are strongly encouraged to apply.
