Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Customer Support Engineer to provide technical support to customers, handle escalations, and resolve issues.

The role includes mailbox migrations between Exchange systems and performing health checks for system availability. The candidate will support UNIX/Linux applications, Windows Server, VM environments, and ITIL processes, with some physical lifting required on site. Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills are essential, and leadership qualities

Qualifications

• Experience supporting applications on UNIX/LINUX platforms and databases.
• Experience in Windows Server, VM, and ITIL would be advantageous.
• Motivated individual with a challenger spirit and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers.
• Identify and escape priority issues as per client specifications.
• Process client service requests and redirect problems to the appropriate resource.
• Provide support on documentation, including procedural documentation.
• Act as a liaison between customers and Tier 2 support regarding problem escalation.
• Provide client support and technical issue resolution via email and phone.
• Perform mailbox migrations between Exchange systems, as well as from other vendors to Exchange, in accordance with procedures to ensure seamless transitions.
• Perform health checks and monitor system availability and functionality.
• Provide operational support to system infrastructures.
