Job summary

ES RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Engineer (Unix/Linux) to support critical systems at Changi Airport. You will manage Unix/Linux environments, assist in upgrades, and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational stability.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or equivalent in CS/IT and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with strong problem-solving and English communication skills. 1-year project renewal with office hours and standby coverage.

• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• 24×7 standby support capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine system maintenance and ensure scheduled activities are completed on time.
• Support Unix/Linux operating systems and applications, including system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Perform OS and application upgrades, patching and maintenance.
• Attend to system/application service requests and change requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, application and technical incidents.
• Work with external vendors/support teams to resolve complex technical issues when required.
• Investigate incidents and identify root causes, preventive actions and corrective measures.
• Prepare timely and professional incident, problem and technical reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing system documentation and supporting ISO audit activities.
• Participate in new project implementation, including requirement gathering, system setup and installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and post-implementation support.

Location: Changi Airport
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours + 24×7 Support Standby
Salary: Up to S$5,000 Basic + 0.5 Month Completion Bonus + Up to 0.5 Month Performance Bonus
Employment Type: 1 Year Project assignment Renewable

About the role
