Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore seeks a System Engineer (outsourced & inhouse) to provide on-site IT support for multimedia training labs and assist in desktop IT services. The role includes setting up PCs, managing AD profiles, and maintaining training software.

You will work with instructors, create AD accounts, update training images, and handle support tickets. Office hours are 8:30am–6pm with potential overtime and time-off-in-lieu. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Information Technology or related discipline.
• 1–2 years IT experience; initiative and quick to learn on-the-job.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Willingness to start work immediately.

Responsibilities

SERVICES REQUIRED

To provide:
1) On-Site IT Support Services for Multimedia Training Labs
2) Assist in the Desktop Support IT Services. SERVICES REQUIRED -Multimedia Training Lab IT Support (Primary Role)
Setup each PC before commencement of training class, and cleanup each PC at the end of the class duration. This involves setting up and managing user (student) login profiles.
Create new active directory (AD), profiles, and group policies for new training programs.
Maintain software applications used in the training facilities, including downloading and installing upgrades from the internet.
Work with training instructors on their requirements for the desktops.
Update desktop images (backup) after any significant changes.
Assist to maintain training server and keep the systems up to date.
-Desktop Support (Secondary Role)
Prepare and cleanup of laptops for on-boarding/off-boarding.
Create images for new laptop models and older ones whenever there are new configuration changes.
Address desktop support issues via IT-Support ticketing system.
Some desktop support at user area.
-GENERAL MANPOWER REQUIREMENTS
Follow End User office operating hours 8.30am to 6pm.
May need some evening and/or weekend due to upgrades or troubleshoot failed services. (Time off in-lieu will be given for such overtime.)
MC and annual leave will be covered by backup staff from the service provider.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Certificate in Information Technology or related discipline.
1 to 2 years experienced IT personnel. Possess initiative and quick to learn on-the-job.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, calmly, and patiently with both technical and non-technical customer including internal groups.
Ability to multi-task and flexible with assigned work schedule.
Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to start work immediately
