Job summary

Rolls-Royce mtu Power Systems seeks an experienced System Engineer (Application Engineer) to lead electro-mechanical solution engineering for major APAC Data Center projects. You will manage scope from initiation to onsite delivery, coordinate with sales, suppliers, and factory teams, and deliver end-to-end mechanical/electrical designs.

The role requires strong engineering calculations, CPS compliance, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or diploma in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience delivering electro-mechanical data center projects.
• Deep expertise in diesel genset systems and/or electrical/mechanical engineering domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead electro-mechanical solution engineering for APAC data center projects.
• Define technical scope with sales and finalize equipment specifications.
• Review drawings, schematics, and P&IDs for compliance with customer specs.
• Coordinate with factories and suppliers to align scope and procurement.
• Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
