Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation seeks an experienced Draft & Design Engineer (Application Engineer) to lead electro‑mechanical solutions for large Data Center projects in APAC. You will develop genset enclosure designs, perform calculations, and coordinate with sales, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely proposals and on‑site delivery.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical expertise, documentation of system layouts, and effective cross‑disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience with diesel engine/generator industry or electrical systems.
• Strong ability to perform engineering calculations and develop electro‑mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end electro‑mechanical solutions for major APAC Data Center projects.
• Develop and manage scope from initiation to onsite delivery of mechanical systems for diesel genset enclosures.
• Review technical documentation, define equipment scope, and support procurement and site delivery.
• Provide technical support during project execution and drive continuous improvement.
