Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Singapore is seeking a Tech Proposal Engineer (Application Engineer) to lead mechanical and electrical solution engineering for major APAC Data Center Projects. You will bridge customer, sales and engineering teams, delivering technical solutions and supporting project execution.

The role requires deep genset enclosure design expertise, strong cross-disciplinary knowledge, and willingness to travel for onsite work.

Qualifications

• University/college studies in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering.
• 5+ years of proven experience in the diesel engine/generator industry.
• Deep expertise in electrical or mechanical genset systems with cross-disciplinary ability.
• Experience in data centers, switchgear, and power protection systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution engineering for major APAC data center projects.
• Define technical scope with sales and engineering; finalize equipment specs.
• Review customer specifications, tender documents, and drawings.
• Coordinate with factory and suppliers to align scope and proposals.
