Job summary

BASIL TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an L2 Support engineer to provide 24x7 production support for Core Banking applications from our Changi Business Park office. You will handle incidents, collaborate across teams and ensure SLAs are met with high service quality.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Unix, SQL, and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Elasticsearch and Grafana, and a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate from IT or Computer Science.
• Must have IT background and intermediate knowledge and hands on experiences with SQL and Linux.
• Need to have eagerness to learn and perform with commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for 24x7 on Core Banking applications.
• Handle incidents and ensure timely resolution.

Job description

Work Location: Changi Business Park

L2 SUPPORT

• Provide L2 production support for 24x7 on Core Banking applications.
• Recent experience in working with Java J2EE applications
• Good understanding of core banking and banking operations is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with Sunline Core Banking would be a strong case for candidate.
• Experience in application support role for min 2 years for support or Developers
• Willing to learn with good knowledge of Java, Unix, SQL
• Experience in programming languages such as JAVA/J2EE.
• Experience in Unix commands, SQL queries
• Knowledge of Job scheduling, MQ setup, CI / CD setup experience is a plus
• Familiarity with ticketing tools and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Elasticsearch and Grafana.
• Dynamic individual with thirst to learn
• Strong team player with excellent inter-personal skills
• Ownership oriented and ability to meet SLAs with no compromise on the quality of the work
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.
