Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgeted sales and margin targets at the category level to guide procurement planning.
• Identify merchandise gaps within categories and source products to meet category requirements.
• Execute procurement activities aligned with product specifications and customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate timely payment processes to suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality standards, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy to support operational needs.
• Manage clearance and disposition of ageing and discontinued stock to optimize inventory value.
• Oversee slow-moving and excess inventory lines to reduce holding costs.
• Analyze stock data continuously to identify and rectify overstock and understock situations promptly.
• Review draft proposals and procurement specifications to ensure compliance with procurement requirements.
