Job summary

Elite Car Drive Shaft Centre in Singapore seeks a workshop supervisor to oversee daily motor shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely servicing.

You will coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, deliveries, and inspections, assign tasks to mechanics, monitor progress, and uphold quality and safety standards. The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain records of work and parts usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level, GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a motor workshop, automotive servicing, or vehicle repair environment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, automotive repair procedures, and workshop operations.
• Ability to supervise mechanics and technicians and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Familiarity with automotive tools, workshop equipment, and spare parts inventory management.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and workshop housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, repair, and inspection activities to meet quality standards.
• Assign tasks to mechanics and technicians and monitor job progress to ensure timely completion.
• Inspect completed repair and maintenance work to verify quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and workshop supplies and arrange timely replenishment.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle servicing needs, repair progress, and maintenance recommendations.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints to maintain service satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, repair orders, spare parts usage, and workshop activities.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop equipment, tools, and machinery to support operations.
• Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping, and operational procedures within the workshop.
• Assist in monitoring workshop productivity, service quality, and operational costs to identify improvements.
• Report operational issues and recommend solutions to enhance workshop efficiency.
