Job summary

SUNTEC CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Coordinator to oversee daily site activities in Singapore. You will work with project teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution, on-time progress, and compliance with drawings and safety standards.

The role requires coordination across M&E, architecture, and structural trades, timely updates, and proactive issue resolution. You will deploy manpower, manage permits, deliveries, and site logistics to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Building, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, M&E Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant site coordination or construction site supervision experience.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple trades and subcontractors on busy projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth execution and adherence to schedules.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, workers, and trades to align work plans.
• Plan and sequence daily work, manpower deployment, and work areas based on schedules.
• Coordinate M&E installation with other contractors to prevent clashes.
• Liaise with main contractors, clients, consultants, and site reps to manage requirements.
• Manage site access, permits, deliveries, equipment movement, and logistics.
• Deploy workers and subcontractors to correct work areas and ensure clear understanding of tasks.
• Monitor daily progress and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer on drawings, site instructions, and scope changes.
• Identify coordination issues and elevate to PM/Engineer.
• Arrange inspections and track outstanding or rectification works.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available for site activities.
• Participate in daily site coordination, toolbox, and project meetings to maintain communication.
• Maintain effective communication between site team, office/project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor attendance and progress to support project tracking.
• Ensure site activities comply with requirements and safety regulations.
• Assist in preparing daily progress updates and manpower records.

• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth execution of project works and adherence to schedules
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, workers, and other trades to align work plans and resolve conflicts
• Plan and sequence daily work, manpower deployment, and work areas based on project schedules
• Coordinate M&E installation with architectural, structural, and other contractors to prevent clashes and work conflicts
• Liaise with main contractors, clients, consultants, and site representatives to manage work arrangements and site requirements
• Manage site access, work permits, material deliveries, equipment movement, and logistical arrangements to support site operations
• Deploy workers and subcontractors to correct work areas and ensure clear understanding of daily tasks
• Monitor daily site progress and follow up with relevant parties to ensure timely completion of scheduled works
• Coordinate with Project Engineer on drawings, technical requirements, site instructions, and scope changes
• Identify site coordination issues, work conflicts, or potential delays and elevate promptly to Project Manager/Engineer
• Arrange inspections with relevant parties and track outstanding or rectification works to closure
• Ensure availability and proper coordination of materials, tools, and equipment for site activities
• Participate in daily site coordination, toolbox, and project meetings to maintain communication and alignment
• Maintain effective communication between site team, office/project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Monitor workers’ attendance, deployment, and general work progress to support project tracking
• Ensure site activities comply with project requirements, approved drawings, work procedures, and safety regulations

• Perform additional site coordination duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Building, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, M&E Engineering or related discipline
• Relevant experience in site coordination or construction site supervision
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in M&E, cleanroom, semiconductor, industrial, or process plant projects is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with workers, subcontractors, and different trades on site
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities simultaneously
• Willingness to work at different project sites according to operational requirements
