Job summary

SRS Building Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a responsible Supervisor/General Foreman (M&E) to oversee daily mechanical and electrical construction activities across Singapore.

You will coordinate manpower, supervise subcontractors, and ensure works are performed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in engineering, with 3–5 years of M&E site experience, reads drawings, and enforces quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in M&E-related fields and 3–5 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience supervising site operations, subcontractors and project execution.
• Ability to read construction drawings, method statements and specs.
• Knowledge of WSH requirements and construction regulations in Singapore.
• Strong communication, leadership and team coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities.

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Supervisor / General Foreman (M&E) to oversee daily Mechanical & Electrical construction activities, coordinate manpower, and manage site operations for ongoing projects across Singapore. The successful candidate will ensure that all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily M&E construction activities and monitor site progress.
• Lead and coordinate workers, subcontractors, and site teams to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities for various M&E systems.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, clients, and main contractors.
• Monitor workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with statutory and company safety requirements.
• Prepare daily work schedules, manpower planning, progress reports, and site documentation.
• Resolve site technical issues and provide guidance to supervisors and workers.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment utilization, and site housekeeping.
• Conduct inspections and ensure quality workmanship throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction projects.
• Experience in supervising site operations, subcontractors, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and construction regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities effectively.
• Experience in Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ELV Systems, Data Centres, or Telecommunication projects will be an advantage.
• Willing to work at different project locations across Singapore based on operational requirements.

• Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, and data centre projects is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
• Possession of relevant safety certificates or construction-related training will be an added advantage.
