Job summary

FIRSTPOINTE PTE. Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Dance, Early Childhood, Business Administration, Operations, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, administration, customer service, or office coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiar with administrative databases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general operational support to management and assist with ad-hoc projects.

Overview

We\'re looking for a Studio Operations Coordinator who is highly organized, proactive, and people-oriented to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our dance studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, improving operational efficiency, and creating a welcoming experience for staff, students, and parents. You will work closely with the management team and teaching staff to support studio operations, events, and administrative processes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the studio to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Manage administrative processes, including student registrations, class scheduling, attendance records, and customer enquiries.
  • Coordinate with teachers and management.
  • Deliver professional and friendly customer service to students and parents, through various communication channels.
  • Support the planning and execution of studio events, performances, examinations, workshops, and other special projects.
  • Maintain accurate student records, operational documents, and administrative databases.
  • Oversee inventory, studio supplies, and coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure facilities are well maintained.
  • Assist with basic financial administration, including fee collection, invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and contribute to creating an efficient and positive studio experience.
  • Provide general operational support to management and assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Dance, Early Childhood, Business Administration, Operations, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, administration, customer service, or office coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable working with administrative systems and databases; experience with OClass is an advantage.
  • Basic numeracy skills to support fee administration and financial transactions.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience in the education, arts, fitness, or dance industry is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work weekends and during studio events or performances when required.
