Qualifications

• A recognised Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in student support, youth development, counselling, social services, higher education or related fields.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in case management, programme planning or stakeholder engagement would be an advantage.
• Experience in developing communication materials, managing publicity or coordinating outreach initiatives would be an advantage.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to prepare reports, publicity materials and professional correspondence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with faculty partners - Student Support Managers (SSMs), student organisations and community partners to foster an integrated and coordinated student support ecosystem.
• Provide structured case consultations to SSMs managing complex or at‑risk student situations, offering guidance on assessment, intervention planning, and appropriate referrals.
• Provide student support and case management by assessing students’ needs, coordinating appropriate referrals, maintaining timely case documentation, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support student wellbeing.
• Support and implement student wellness programmes and initiatives that promote wellbeing, resilience, help‑seeking behaviours and peer support, while evaluating programme outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Support the Student Wellness Section’s communications and outreach strategy by developing and executing communication and publicity plans that increase awareness, promote student engagement and strengthen the visibility of Student Wellness initiatives.
• Contribute to service development and strategic initiatives by supporting the review of frameworks, practice guides and operational processes, analysing data and trends (including the Student Life & Wellness Survey), preparing reports, and participating in cross-functional projects that advance student wellness at NUS.
