Job summary

The National University of Singapore seeks a Residential Wellness Manager within the Office of Student Affairs to support students living in on-campus housing. You will provide case management, coordinate wellbeing programs and collaborate with hostel masters, faculties and external partners.

This role focuses on mental health promotion, crisis response, training of peer supporters, and administration to strengthen the campus wellness framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline.
• Experience in student support, youth development, counselling, or higher education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
• Flexible hours including weekends when required.
• Experience in case management or stakeholder engagement is advantageous.
• Strong writing skills for reports and materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Support students in managing academic, personal and other challenges during office hours and beyond.
• Coordinate with hostels, faculties and partners to assist students with mental health concerns.
• Initiate referrals for students experiencing serious mental health challenges.
• Provide psychological first aid and facilitate group debriefs when required.
• Participate in crisis management and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead outreach to promote wellbeing through programmes and events.
• Plan, organise and conduct training for peer student supporters.
• Manage recruitment and development of Peer Student Supporters.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain records; coordinate with supervisor for professional development.
