Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services is seeking a part-time School Guidance Assistant in a Singapore school. The role supports student welfare, conducts case fact-finding, and documents cases under supervision. You will work under the Year Head to resolve conflicts and communicate with parents.

The position requires a diploma/degree in social work or related fields and at least 2 years of experience with children/youth. Immediate start and a 2-month contract are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Education or related fields preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience working with children/youth.
• Good communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support student conduct, bullying and peer-conflict cases.
• Conduct fact-finding, student engagement and case documentation.
• Support conflict resolution and parent communication under guidance of the Year Head.
• Supervise students during recess, detention and other activities.
• Escalate serious or sensitive cases to appropriate school personnel.

Duration/Working hours:

2 months contract (Immediate)

• Mon, Wed & Fri: 9.00am-2.00pm
• Tue & Thu: 9.00am-4.00pm
• 1-hour lunch break included
• No service on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
