Job summary

Sunnyhill Ace Pte. Ltd. seeks a caring Pastoral Care / Student Support professional to oversee student well-being and behavioural support in a primary classroom environment in Singapore.

You will supervise recess, intervene in challenging behaviours, and build trusted relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote safe, respectful learning. You will work closely with teachers and school Counsellors, conduct restorative conversations, and help students reintegrate into the classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline required.
• Experience with primary school-aged children preferred.
• Soft skills include patience, firm yet caring approach and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Recess Presence & Student Engagement: oversee recess, build rapport with students.
• Behavioral Intervention & Restorative Support: de-escalate volatile situations and provide emotional regulation support.
• Student Check-ins & Befriending: conduct regular check-ins and monitor wellbeing.
• Case Follow-up & Coordination: liaise with teachers, communicate updates to parents, document interventions.
• Detention, Reflection & Reintegration: run reflection sessions and set goals for reintegration.
• Management of the Ke-nect Hub: oversee daily operations and curate engaging activities.
• General Flexibility: undertake other pastoral care duties as assigned.
