Job summary

Northland Secondary School seeks a Student Management Officer to support the Student Discipline Unit in maintaining a positive school environment, engaging students, supporting disciplinary management, maintaining records and assisting with intervention programmes.

The role entails promoting Positive Discipline, patrolling school premises, engaging with at-risk students, and supporting record-keeping and intervention initiatives within a 9.5-month annual service period.

Qualifications

Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent; OR
Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role, including experience in disciplinary management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good team player with an organised and meticulous approach.
Able to multitask effectively.
Proficient in: Microsoft Office, Email, Google Tools

Responsibilities

Promote and support Positive Discipline practices.
Support the Student Discipline Unit in maintaining a positive school tone during school hours.
Patrol the school compound, including classroom blocks, toilets and special rooms.
Engage identified at-risk students and the general student population.
Monitor student behaviour and provide appropriate support as directed by the Student Discipline Unit.
