Job summary

Northland Secondary School in Singapore seeks a Discipline Officer to uphold positive discipline and assist the Student Discipline Unit. You will patrol classrooms, blocks, toilets and other areas, engage at‑risk students, and help maintain disciplinary records, under the supervision of the school.

The contract runs 1 Jan 2027 to 15 Nov 2027 with an option to extend to 2028. Work hours are 7:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00am to 4:00pm on Fridays, excluding weekends and public

Qualifications

The candidate must hold at least an O Level or have 5 years of relevant experience, including disciplinary management.
Strong team-player with good organization, meticulousness and ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, Email, and Google Tools.

Responsibilities

Advocate positive discipline in school.
Patrol school premises to maintain positive tone and engage at-risk students.
Assist in investigating serious offences and engage parents when needed.
Maintain and update disciplinary records (print & digital).
Support intervention programmes (in-house suspension, detention, counselling).
Conduct routine checks on school premises and nearby areas to deter misconduct.
