Pioneer Primary School in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer to join the Student Development Team under a 4 January to 12 November 2027 contract.

The role involves supervising pupils, handling misconduct records, restorative conversations, home visits with Heads, and delivering socio-emotional activities during FTGP and CCE periods.

Applicants should have at least three years’ direct experience with children and a relevant diploma, with a focus on engagement for Primary 1–3.

Formación

• At least three years working directly with children in educational, community or similar settings.
• A diploma or higher qualification in Child Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Education or Developmental Psychology.
• Ability to engage Primary 1 to 3 pupils and foster development.

Responsabilidades

• Help the Student Development Team establish facts in misconduct and bullying cases and compile records.
• Supervise pupils during No-Play Time, in-house suspensions and time-outs; use restorative conversations.
• Support pupils with behavioural needs in class and mentor identified pupils.
• Accompany Heads on home visits to discuss pupil progress and safety.
• Deliver targeted social-emotional and executive functioning activities during FTGP and CCE periods.
• Assist teachers with after-school enrichment and provide additional student management in class.
