Job summary

The Student Support Assistants (Discipline) shall assist the Student Development Team in managing student behaviour, supporting daily operations, and maintaining a safe school environment through the following duties: 1. Perform area supervision and walkabouts during stipulated hours to proactively manage student behaviour.

2. Assemble and supervise students during assigned consequences (e.g., detention, reflection sessions, and community service), ensuring an orderly and meaningful environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 GCE 'O' Level passes (must include English) and completed full Nitec or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in student engagement and management within a primary school setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform area supervision and walkabouts during stipulated hours to manage student behaviour.
• Assemble and supervise students during assigned consequences to ensure an orderly environment.
• Assist with incident management by conducting preliminary conversations and compiling school records.
• Assist with facilitation of school events and student development programmes as required.
• Maintain firm professional boundaries and a restorative approach in interactions with students.
• Carry out other duties assigned by School Leaders or Key Personnel during working hours.
