Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking a Structural Engineer to support structural engineering, design coordination and construction activities across industrial, commercial and building projects. Work involves reviewing drawings, coordinating with structural consultants, architects and M&E teams, and providing technical support on RC and steel structures.

The role requires a Civil/Structural degree, Singapore codes familiarity, site inspections, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in structural engineering, building construction or design-and-build projects.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures, detailing and construction methods.
• Familiarity with Singapore building codes and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review structural drawings, design calculations, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinate structural design and construction requirements with structural consultants, architects, M&E consultants and project teams.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions and RFIs.
• Provide technical support for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Conduct site inspections and assist in resolving design and construction issues.
• Coordinate structural works with architectural, civil and M&E disciplines.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities on design submissions and technical matters.
• Review design changes, site discrepancies and as-built documentation.
• Support the Project Manager in meeting project schedules, quality standards and cost objectives.

Our client is an established design-and-build company in Singapore with a portfolio of industrial, commercial and building projects. They are seeking a Structural Engineer to support structural engineering, design coordination and construction activities across their projects.

Responsibilities

• Review structural drawings, design calculations, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinate structural design and construction requirements with structural consultants, architects, M&E consultants and project teams.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions and requests for information (RFIs).
• Provide technical support for reinforced concrete (RC), steel structures, foundations and other structural elements.
• Conduct site inspections and assist in resolving structural design and construction issues.
• Coordinate structural works with architectural, civil and M&E disciplines.
• Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities on design submissions and technical matters.
• Review design changes, site discrepancies and as-built documentation.
• Support the Project Manager in meeting project schedules, quality standards and cost objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in structural engineering, building construction or design-and-build projects.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures, structural detailing and construction methods.
• Familiarity with Singapore building codes and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with ETABS, SAP2000 or SAFE will be advantageous.
• Strong technical, communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, warehouse or large-scale building projects will be an advantage.

Location: North West

Working hours: 5.5 Days

Salary: up to S$6,000, AWS and VB(Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
