Job summary

BCK & PARTNERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our growing consultancy. You will contribute to the design and delivery of residential, commercial and industrial buildings, working with reinforced concrete, structural steel and precast elements.

You will prepare calculations, reports and specifications, and use Revit and AutoCAD for drafting. Team collaboration and site meetings are part of the role, reporting to the senior Design Engineer/Manager.

Qualifications

• Engineering software experience.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast concrete and foundation systems for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional developments.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications and engineering documentation in accordance with local standards.
• Operate Revit & Autocad drafting solutions.
• Work as a team with other engineers and draftsmen.
• Report to senior Design Engineer / Manager / PE.
• Attend project / site meetings if required.
• Assist PE with inspection works and prepare reports.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our growing engineering consultancy in Singapore. Experiences in structural design would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be involved in the structural design and delivery of a wide range of building projects including residential and industrial developments. Key responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast concrete and foundation systems for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional developments.

• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications and engineering documentation in accordance with the Building Control Act, BCA requirements, Eurocodes and relevant Singapore Standards.

• Operate Revit & Autocad drafting solutions

• Work as a team with other engineers and draftsmen

• Report to senior Design Engineer / Manager / PE

• Attend project / site meetings if required

• Assist PE with inspection works and prepare reports
