Job summary

Banen Associates Limited is seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design coordination across development and construction stages in Singapore. You will review drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements while coordinating with consultants, architects, and M&E teams to resolve multidisciplinary design challenges.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering with at least 5 years in large-scale building projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant C&S design experience, preferably with a Main Contractor.
• Experience in large-scale Building Construction projects (commercial/industrial/high-rise).
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, drawings and Singapore regulations.
• Experience in design coordination, technical submissions and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural software with strong problem-solving skills.

Salary: SGD 6,500 SGD 8,000 per Month (Highly Negotiable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Civil & Structural design coordination throughout the design development and construction stages.

Review structural drawings, design calculations and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate with consultants, architects, M&E teams and subcontractors to resolve multidisciplinary design issues.

Prepare and review technical submissions, design changes and Requests for Information (RFIs).

Liaise with Qualified Persons (QPs) and relevant authorities on design approvals and regulatory compliance.

Provide technical support to construction teams, resolving structural design issues and ensuring timely project delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of relevant C&S design experience, preferably with a Main Contractor.

Experience in large-scale Building Construction projects, including commercial, industrial or high-rise developments.

Strong knowledge of structural design principles, engineering drawings and Singapore building regulations.

Experience in design coordination, technical submissions and multidisciplinary consultant coordination.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, structural engineering software and relevant design tools, with strong technical problem-solving skills.
