Job summary

Emerson Asia Pacific Private Limited is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and assembly activities, ensure quality controls, manage inventory, and coordinate distribution. You will drive process improvements, lean initiatives, and collaboration with stakeholders to optimize efficiency and customer service across the network.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in logistics and supply chain management or business management.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations management.
• Experience in strategic planning and transportation for on-time delivery.
• Experience negotiating with freight forwarders, overseas factories and suppliers.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Direct supply chain and daily operations including shipping, warehousing, distribution and inventory control.
• Plan workloads and manpower to meet targets cost-effectively.
• Manage stock control and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform quality controls to ensure goods meet specifications.
• Communicate with stakeholders to meet delivery times.
• Lead Lean projects to reduce lead time and improve service levels.
• Organize, plan, and implement inventory activities.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
