Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in business development, tendering, or sales support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Compile tender information to identify key activities and capabilities.
• Make recommendations for pursuit aligned with business direction.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to support tender requirements.
• Manage tender lifecycle from bid meetings to clarifications and deadlines.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions and post-tender clarifications.
• Coordinate with estimating teams during prequalification and RFQ stages.
• Review tender requirements to align strategy with client expectations.
• Support development of competitive execution plans across engineering, procurement, fabrication, assembly, integration, commissioning, load-out, transportation, and offshore hook-up support.
• Contribute market intelligence and competitive analysis to tender submissions.
• Ensure proposals clearly communicate the yard's capabilities, capacity, facilities, project experience, safety performance, quality systems, and delivery advantages.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings, technical workshops, commercial negotiations, and contract alignment discussions.
• Coordinate internal approvals for pricing strategy, qualifications, exclusions, risk allowances, contingencies, and commercial terms.
• Ensure handover from business development and tender teams to the project execution team after contract award.
• Assist pricing strategies balancing competitiveness, project risk, yard utilisation, and margin objectives.
• Review key commercial and contractual requirements, including payment terms, performance guarantees, liquidated damages, warranties, liabilities, insurance, bonds, schedule obligations, and change-order mechanisms.
• Work with commercial, legal, finance, and project controls teams to identify material contractual risks.
• Obtain global and regional cost data using market intelligence on projects competitors are bidding, executing and obtain competitors' pricing, if possible
