Job summary

UNITED OIL COMPANY PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a procurement professional to identify and manage suppliers, ensuring high vendor performance to support operations. You will manage purchasing and procurement of raw and packaging materials to meet production needs and provide forecast planning for materials essential to the master production schedule.

The role requires a degree in SCM or related field and at least 2 years of experience; SAP B1 and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in SCM or related field.
• Minimum 2 years SCM experience.
• Oil/lubricant industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers and negotiate prices and terms.
• Support vendor selections using objective metrics on cost, quality, service and delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and address disruptions with the manager.
• Source alternative suppliers to maintain efficiency during uncertainty.
• Raise POs for routine purchases to meet requirements and inventory levels.
• Forecast weekly delivery schedules for packaging materials.
