Job summary

Volvo Group’s Supply Planning team in Singapore seeks a skilled Supply Chain Analyst to manage backorders, optimize inventory, and drive performance through data-driven insights. You will work with central DCs, planners, and sales teams across brands to improve service levels and working capital.

You will lead optimization efforts, leverage Power BI, and contribute to continuous improvement through automation and digital tools, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent working experience.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence.
• Good teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerBI, and digitalisation or automation tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Backorder daily recovery from central distribution centers to improve parts availability.
• Collaborate with suppliers and material planners to follow up on back order status.
• Provide timely updates on backorder status and ETA inquiries across markets.
• Lead regular follow-up meetings to improve ETA reliability and address issues.
• Support Time Planned Orders by coordinating priorities and visibility of fulfilment.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions to improve inventory performance.
• Coordinate end-to-end internal parts supply chain activities from central DCs to customer orders.
• Facilitate coordination between site operations and sales for smooth information flow.
• Drive inventory optimization, obsolescence management, and working capital improvements.
• Support digitalisation initiatives by implementing dashboards and automated reports.
• Collaborate with RPA team to enhance automation in supply planning processes.
