Job summary

Volvo Group in Singapore is seeking a hands-on logistics professional to own freight cost control, transporter performance and day-to-day transport operations.

The role involves analyzing freight spend, managing Logistics Service Providers, supporting RFQs and new implementations, coordinating to optimise ordering and reduce CO2, and driving digital reporting within the CS TS team at Distribution Center Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience (>5 years).
• Strong customer and dealer focus with service mindset.
• Collaborative cross-functional teamwork and accountability.
• Analytical, structured decision-making and continuous improvement mindset.
• Digital proficiency including Office and Power Apps; AI tool knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own freight cost control and transporter performance.
• Manage LSPs and RFQ processes; support new transporters.
• Drive automation and digital reporting within CS&TS.
• Reduce CO2 and freight cost; improve ordering and inbound flows.
• Coordinate with business areas for optimal transport behavior.
• Escalation handling for transport-related topics.
