Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement in local Food Manufacturing sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Identification and Management: Research potential suppliers and maintain a database of approved vendors; evaluate capabilities and cost-effectiveness; develop relationships for favorable terms.
• Procurement Process Management: Coordinate with stakeholders, prepare RFQs/RFPs/POs; evaluate bids and select suppliers; negotiate contracts and terms.
• Contract Management: Monitor performance and compliance; resolve disputes; identify renegotiation opportunities.
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventory records; coordinate with warehouse and logistics; minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure procurement compliance; identify and mitigate risks; conduct audits.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on spending trends, supplier performance, and savings; analyze data for improvements.
