Job summary

Swire Shipping in Singapore seeks an Assistant Capacity Manager to support yield and profitability by managing capacity across service legs, forecasting, planning and coordinating cargo flows in partnership with Line Managers.

You will monitor utilizations, develop reports, coordinate seasonal adjustments, and maintain strong relationships with customers and external partners to maximise yield and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma desirable with a focus on Business or Supply Chain Management
• 3-5 years of progressive shipping experience preferred with a proven business or operations focus

Responsibilities

• Support optimisation of capacity/inventory of voyages and contribute to P&L outcomes
• Analyse and recommend optimal cargo mix to maximise financial return
• Develop reports to support Capacity Manager and Line Manager for yield optimization
• Drive internal communications to keep cost exposure under control and improve yield
