Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor) to manage costs from tender to final account on major construction projects. This role requires attention to budget, contractual administration, and commercial coordination across stakeholders.

You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare estimates, monitor budgets, handle progress claims and variations, and oversee subcontract procurement, contract documents and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction QS/cost management.
• Prefer experience with main contractors.
• 5.5 days workweek (alternate Saturday).

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications; prepare cost estimates and assist in tender submissions.
• Monitor project expenditure; prepare monthly cost reports and analyze variances.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims; quantify variation orders and negotiate with clients/consultants.
• Obtain quotations from subcontractors; conduct price comparisons and negotiations; issue letters of award or work orders.
• Manage contract documents; ensure compliance with terms; assist in finalizing project accounts.
