Job summary

QUALITAT ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimates, budgets, tender documents, and valuations on Singapore civil projects.

The role requires detailed measurements, evaluation of quotations, and regular cost reporting in a dynamic construction environment. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, attend site meetings, and ensure accurate final accounts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore construction industry (civil projects preferred).
• Familiar with Singapore LTA contracts.
• Proficient in quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-off and measurement based on drawings.
• Prepare quotations, progress claims, and Variation Orders (VO).
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and claims.
• Prepare subcontractor payment certificates and monitor payments.
• Monitor project costs and prepare regular cost reports.
• Handle contract administration and contractual documentation.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Attend site meetings and carry out site measurements when required.
