Leading A1 Main Contractor in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control and contract administration across major building projects. You will handle progress claims, variation orders and final accounts for subcontractors and clients.

The role includes tender documentation, cost estimation, procurement, and ongoing budget/cash flow monitoring to ensure commercial success. Candidates should have at least 3 years of QS experience and a Diploma or Degree in QS or related field.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience, with senior positions requiring stronger commercial exposure.
• Experience in large-scale Building Construction projects, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
• Strong knowledge of post-contract administration, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Familiarity with tendering, cost estimation, subcontractor procurement and construction contracts.
• Good commercial awareness, negotiation and communication skills, with proficiency in Excel and relevant QS software.

Responsabilités

• Manage quantity surveying and contract administration activities across major building construction projects.
• Prepare and evaluate progress claims, variation orders and final accounts for subcontractors and clients.
• Handle tender documentation, cost estimates, quotations and subcontractor procurement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project budgets, cost reports and cash flow, ensuring effective commercial and cost control.
• Review subcontractor claims, contractual obligations and payment certifications in accordance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants and subcontractors to resolve contractual and commercial matters.
