Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quantity surveying or related field.
• Prefer experience with main contractors on commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of tendering, cost control and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Tendering & estimation: prepare cost estimates from drawings and specs for submissions.
• Cost control: monitor expenditure and produce monthly cost reports.
• Progress claims & variations: prepare claims and assess variation orders.
• Subcontracting & procurement: obtain quotations and negotiate with suppliers.
• Contract administration: manage documents and assist final accounts.
