Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holder required.
• 3–5 years purchasing experience in contract manufacturing, environment of cable/harness/electromechanical assemblies preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel skills.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance for strategic decisions.
• Good commercial acumen and understanding of business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning to ensure smooth operational flow and timely delivery.
• Drive cost savings by negotiating pricing, payment terms, and lead times with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers locally and overseas.
• Assess supplier capabilities to ensure quality and delivery standards.
• Support EC processes by ensuring data accuracy and collaborating with suppliers.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands.
• Communicate with cross-departmental stakeholders to align procurement activities.
• Analyze data and resolve procurement and supply issues.
• Apply appropriate methods to optimize procurement outcomes.
• Own assigned tasks and provide regular data updates to Purchasing Manager.
• Prepare weekly purchasing reports to improve efficiency and KPIs.
• Provide reviews and recommendations to enhance purchasing processes.
