Job summary

IHO-Singapore Lab is seeking an Assistant/Manager to support the General Manager in formulating and implementing strategies, coordinating with the Governing Board, and aligning tasks with the approved work plan.

You will engage international hydrographic administrations and coordinate technical reviews, ensuring collaboration with internal teams and external experts to advance Lab projects and new proposals, while also assisting day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in project management and executive support.
• Knowledge and/or experience in maritime and/or R&D industries is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with international counterparts.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines, both independently and in a team.
• Proactive, well-organised, detail-oriented and highly resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating and implementing strategies for IHO-Singapore Lab.
• Coordinate with Governing Board and external stakeholders; draft the work plan.
• Present periodic reviews and status reports at meetings.
• Engage international hydrographic administrations on projects and collaborations.
• Coordinate technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders and experts.
• Support day-to-day operations of the IHO-Singapore Lab.
