Job summary

Samsung SDS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd seeks a procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing and order management in IT projects. You will work with vendors across APAC, ensure compliance with policies, and leverage SAP MM, SRM, Knox to streamline processes.

The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing, a relevant diploma/degree, and strong negotiation, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Collaboration with Sales, Delivery, Ops, and Finance is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing and order management experience in IT.
• Diploma or degree in relevant studies.
• Experience sourcing in local and overseas vendor management; APAC is an advantage.
• Good understanding of quotation and contract terms; negotiation skills required.
• Experience using ERP SAP.
• Able to work independently and in a group in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Procurement operations based on assigned R&R.
• Strategic planning and compliance.
• Order management from requisition to project closing.
• Vendor management and onboarding new vendors.
• Ensure process compliance with company guidelines.
• Use SAP MM, SRM, Knox for daily tasks.
• Cost evaluation and data verification against requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Month/year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and submit management reports.
• Ad hoc tasks as requested by management.
