Job summary

ELOGIO ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Purchasing Executive to support day-to-day purchasing activities, source reliable suppliers, process purchase orders, coordinate deliveries, and ensure goods are procured timely and cost-effectively.

The role involves close collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, logistics, and finance to review, approve, and record purchasing requirements, while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines in a hands-on business environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or related discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor coordination.
• Experience in sourcing, supplier negotiation, purchase order processing, and delivery coordination is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and purchasing, inventory, ERP, or accounting systems.
• Good price/quantity checks, accurate documentation, and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with suppliers and internal teams.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Independent, proactive, and responsible with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process purchase requisitions from internal departments.
• Source, evaluate, and compare suppliers on price, quality, availability, and delivery lead time.
• Request quotations, negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with approval procedures.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, logistics, and internal users on delivery arrangements and order status.
• Check delivery orders, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Maintain purchasing records, supplier information, price lists, contracts, and quotations.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder requirements.
• Assist with vendor issues, delays, quantity discrepancies, quality concerns, and invoice mismatches.
• Prepare reports and supplier evaluations when required.
