Qualifications

• Ability to manage shipments, coordinate with vendors, warehouses, and freight forwarders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement and requisition activities, including handling shipments and coordinating with vendors.
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Monitor and control supplier performance, shipment arrangements, and invoice discrepancies for accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Oversee documentation for customs clearance and ensure compliance with import/export laws.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and handle import shipment documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and lead times to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Track stock movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support general administrative functions within the department.
