Job summary

KINGMAO INTERNATIONAL (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and cost analyses. The role involves coordinating with warehouse, sales, and Finance to ensure timely delivery, accurate records, and optimal pricing.

You will assess suppliers, negotiate terms, maintain documentation, and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings across the supply chain in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Order Management: Handle day-to-day purchasing activities, including sourcing, quotation comparison, price negotiation, and issuance of purchase orders.
• Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and maintain suitable suppliers based on price, quality, delivery performance, and service.
• Cost & Price Management: Conduct price comparisons and purchasing cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities; negotiate pricing while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Inventory & Demand Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse, operations, sales, and other departments on purchasing requirements and inventory levels; plan purchases to minimize shortages or excess.
• Purchasing Documentation & System Maintenance: Prepare and maintain purchase orders, quotations, contracts, delivery documents, and ensure data accuracy in the system.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise with requesting departments to confirm specs, quantities, budgets, and delivery requirements; provide updates on progress.
• Purchasing Compliance & Process Improvement: Ensure activities comply with policies; maintain documentation and support process improvements.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare purchasing data and assist in budgeting and management analysis.
