Zusammenfassung

sggovterp is seeking an experienced Strategic Planning professional to join the Strategic Planning Division as an individual contributor. You will help shape SWDA’s strategic direction, policy work and organisational development efforts while coordinating with MOM and Whole-of-Government partners.

You will translate priorities into actionable plans, monitor emerging trends and support policy reviews to strengthen alignment and effectiveness across agencies in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to see beyond surface issues.
• Good project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of labour economics.
• Sound knowledge of public governance principles.
• Familiarity with data governance concepts is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Drive and support strategic planning to shape SWDA’s long-term direction and priorities.
• Develop and coordinate strategies to inform policy, programmes and initiatives across SWDA.
• Translate strategic priorities into coordinated plans with SWDA divisions.
• Monitor emerging trends and future developments to strengthen planning.
• Address strategic communications issues with the Strategic Comms Division as needed.
• Formulate and review policies to advance SWDA’s mission and the Jobs and Skills agenda.
• Coordinate whole-of-government policies and policy reviews.
• Interface with MOM and partners on policy matters, including responses to Parliamentary Questions.
• Support organisational development to align structures, processes and ways of working.
• Enhance capacity to respond to challenges through planning, coordination and capability-building.
