Job summary

Income-Insurance-Limited is seeking an experienced Strategy & FP&A professional to drive strategic planning, financial planning, and performance management. The role ensures alignment of business plans with company objectives and market opportunities.

You will develop robust financial models, deliver insightful management reporting and create executive-ready materials for Excom and Board discussions. Collaboration across functions is essential to optimize commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, business performance management, strategy, consulting or business analytics.
• Experience in insurance or financial services would be advantageous.
• Proven experience in financial modelling, management reporting, business case development and executive presentation preparation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SAP, Essbase or similar tools would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of business plans and strategic priorities.
• Monitor performance against objectives, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards and scorecards for reviews.
• Prepare business cases, financial projections and commercial assessments for new initiatives.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations and management papers for senior discussions.
• Support pitches, proposals and tender submissions with financial analyses and insights.
• Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, Business/Distribution, Product, Underwriting, Operations and Marketing.
• Improve reporting processes through automation and analytics tools and undertake strategic projects.
