Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore seeks a Strategic Planner within the SWDA Strategic Planning Division. You will support the development of the strategic direction, policy work and organisational development across public service partners.

You will collaborate with MOM and Whole-of-Government to shape strategies, monitor trends, and align divisions to the Jobs and Skills agenda. A contract may be extended depending on performance and needs.

Qualifications

• Understanding of labour economics concepts.
• Understanding of public governance principles.
• Familiarity with data governance and related principles.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support strategic planning to shape SWDA’s long-term direction and priorities.
• Develop and coordinate strategies to inform policy, programmes and initiatives across SWDA.
• Translate strategic priorities into coordinated plans and actionable initiatives with SWDA divisions.
• Monitor emerging trends and future developments to strengthen SWDA’s planning.
• Address strategic communications issues with the Strategic Comms Division as needed.
• Formulate and review policies to support SWDA’s mission.
• Coordinate whole-of-government policies to advance Jobs and Skills agenda.
• Review policy relevance and alignment to SWDA’s objectives.
• Interface with MOM and Whole-of-Government partners on policy matters.
