Job summary

Axi is a leading global provider of margin and deliverable FX, CFDs, and financial spread betting with offices worldwide. We seek an experienced payments leader to build strategic relationships with PSPs and banks, source new payment solutions, and manage commercial terms globally, especially in APAC and the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating commercial terms with payment providers.
• Strong knowledge of payments methods, pricing, and settlement.
• Proven ability to manage external relationships across PSPs and banks.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic relationships with PSPs, acquiring banks, payment gateways and alternative providers globally, with focus on APAC and Middle East.
• Source new payment solutions, partners and methods, conduct due diligence, contracts, and coordinate with Product, Tech, Compliance, Legal and Finance until live.
• Negotiate processing rates, settlement terms, reserves and limits; own payments costs optimization.
• Monitor partner performance; negotiate or replace underperforming providers based on approval rates, reliability and risk.
• Develop local payment coverage across cards, bank transfers, wallets, and alternatives with redundancy.
• Drive initiatives aligned with Axi's priorities and collaborate across departments to deliver programs end-to-end.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Axi policies; take on additional responsibilities as needed.
