Job summary

Chubb Insurance Hong Kong in Singapore is seeking a dynamic business development professional to expand distribution through partners and manage engagement activities. You will identify opportunities, attend industry events, and help shape new services for distribution channels.

You will also oversee sales management, track production to maintain a healthy pipeline, and pursue targets for new business and renewals in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential business opportunities through partners' networks and existing portfolios
• Participate in industry events and conferences to gather market insights and creative trends
• Consult with mid and senior management to develop new services and products for distribution channels
• Leverage market and competitor insights to define unique selling propositions and differentiators
• Collaborate with partners and underwriters to drive new business opportunities and achieve targeted retention ratios
• Conduct joint fieldwork with partners, with or without underwriters, to secure a profitable business portfolio and mix
• Maintain disciplined sales management through planned business reviews and goal setting for segmented partners
• Track and measure production trends daily to ensure a strong pipeline and meet sales targets
• Achieve sales targets for both new business and renewals
• Leverage industry networks to recruit new partners and achieve recruitment targets to meet production goals
• Identify, activate, and support distribution partners to enhance productivity and meet recruitment objectives
• Enhance partner training to ensure professional representation of the business
• Support partners' career development through business expansion, progression, and continuity planning
• Initiate and execute sales activities to generate new and renewal business through cross-selling, upselling, and -portfolio analysis
• Plan and support campaigns and events to achieve sales and campaign objectives
• Motivate and guide partners to achieve incentives and business goals, such as higher-tier status, bonuses, and trips
• Undertake additional responsibilities or ad-hoc tasks as required to support business objectives and team success
